Each year, Academy students participate in the United Way Day of Caring, a day to clean up your community in honor of Earth Day.  Academy students clean up around the school, and this year, 42 students and teachers cleaned up around Academy and on State Street from 18^th to 38^th.  It is tradition for Academy students to dine together after their hard work.
