Learn and Serve Advisor Marcia Tome and Student Council Advisor Robert Merski of the School District of the City of Erie presented a check to Julie Karsznia and some of the students at the Dr. Gertrude A. Barber National Institute for their annual food drive.  The two-hundred dollars was raised by the students of Wayne Elementary School.  The Learn and Serve group P.O.E.T.S. have contributed to the Barber Center food drive for the past three years and this year they invited the Student Council to help.
