Lightspan Partnership Program

The Lightspan Partnership Project provides curriculum-based interactive software in reading and mathematics to selected elementary schools and homes throughout the district. Designed to enrich the school's learning environment and then extend that environment into the student's home, the Lightspan Program provides yet another home-school bridge.

With the use of this software and a Sony Playstation connected to a television, students are able to reinforce learning in their home. Interested parents of students in various elementary schools are using the Lightspan' materials to support their child's education.

Seniors Earning Rebates Volunteering in Erie Schools

The School District of the City of Erie and its Board of Directors created a program that allows tax rebates for senior citizens living within the school district boundaries.
