Reading Recovery is designed to increase the literacy development of first graders. The selection of students will include the process developed and outlined by the Program, with input provided by the Kindergarten and First Grade teachers. The essential strategies for reading and writing in a one-on-one teacher- student instructional setting. The program is currently in 7 of our 14 elementary schools.
