The Federally supported Title I Program mandates and strongly encourages the involvement of parents.

Two Title I Parent Involvement Specialists support the district's efforts for this increased parental participation in the student's school activities. Either the Title I or the English as a Second Language Parent Involvement Specialist can be reached through the school district office.

The District-Wide Parent Advisory Council is a group of Title I parents who meet monthly to share ideas and develop strategies to encourage more parents to become involved in their child's education.

Title I Parent Involvement grants are also available.
