Family First Sports Park

 

The Family First Sports Park offers scholarships to students to participate in athletics as a

way to encourage positive role modeling and staying drug and alcohol free. Edison Elem-

entary School, Burton Elementary School and McKinley Elementary School are currently

participating in the sports outreach program in basketball and soccer. The program

operates from September to May during the school year and also offers a summer camp

scholarship for basketball and soccer as well. Family First scholarships over $10,000

a year towards the Delinquency Prevention Program and the Erie School District. At the

present time over 160 students are participating in DPP/ Family First program. This

unique collaboration has existed since 1995 and continues to work together to secure

grants in the future to serve as many student athletes as possible. For more information

trict have the following team athletics:

 

Micro-soccer ages 6-8; Micro-soccer ages 9-12; Club soccer (Under 9); Girl's

basketball grades 3-4; Girl's basketball grades 5-6; Boy's basketball grades 3-4;

Boy's basketball grades 5-6.
